We’re excited to share plans for a new affordable housing development that will bring 17 energy-efficient, two-story single-family homes to Schriever Lane in New City! Each home will be approximately 1,300 square feet and include three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, an eat-in kitchen, a living room, a dining room, a family room, and a one-car garage. Designed with both comfort and sustainability in mind, the homes will feature all-electric heat pumps for heating and cooling, as well as low-flow kitchen and bathroom fixtures to conserve water.
Every home will come with a paved driveway and access to cement sidewalks and shared open green space, creating a safe and welcoming environment for residents. EV charging stations will be available within the development to support cleaner transportation options. Importantly, the homes will not include accessory dwelling units and are being developed within a residentially zoned area to blend naturally into the existing neighborhood.
